ENFJ Introduction
People with ENFJ personality characteristics are very aware of their environment. ENFJ personalities are friendly and polite, and they enjoy helping others, and working toward a shared goal. ENFJs are natural leaders, which explains why so many well-known politicians, coaches, and educators are ENFJs.
I. What Does ENFJ Stand For?
ENFJ stands for Extraversion, iNtuition, Feeling, and Judgment and is one of 16 personality types studied from the MBTI test (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). The MBTI personality assessment developed by Isabel Briggs Myers, Katharine Cook Briggs, and David Keirsey from the work of psychiatrist Carl G. Jung, the types of psychology based on theories of cognitive functions. Keirsey named ENFJ The Giver/ The Teacher because this group tends to help others, and ENFJs are one of the four oriented-idealist personality types.
II. Personality Traits of The ENFJ Group
ENFJs are kind teachers. They have a strong charisma that makes others trust their guidance and help. Many ENFJs can manipulate and attract others easily due to their communication skills and the special art of selling. But it is not because ENFJs want to control others, they only believe in their dreams and assume they are just helpers and guides, and often they are just like that.
ENFJs are knowledgeable. They have a panoramic view. They also can focus on many things so several ENFJs can handle multiple responsibilities and projects at the same time. Many ENFJs have excellent business capabilities.
ENFJs are organized and assertive (group J), but they differ from other J groups in terms of both organizational personality and stubbornness. ENFJs are organized people in terms of social relations. Their conclusions based on emotions about people and their motivations for action are often quicker and more reliable than other groups.
ENFJs understand and value others. Like people in group NF (or more broadly, group F), they often sacrifice their own needs for others. They also have fragile psychological boundaries than other groups and are easily vulnerable and are taken advantage of by less sensitive people. The burden that ENFJs place on themselves is often heavier than they can bear.
III. The Cognitive Functions of The ENFJ Group
Dominant: Extraverted Feeling
ENFJs demonstrate this cognitive function by engaging social behavior and harmonious social relationships. They put others first and are so attuned to other people's feelings that they ignore their own needs. They emphasize more the considerations of individuals and objects than objective criteria when making decisions. Their primary concern is the impact of the decision on others.
Auxiliary: Introverted Intuition
ENFJs prefer to think about the future rather than the present. They can often be so focused on a larger goal that they don't notice the details at hand. As ENFJs take in information about the world, their introversion processes this data to make impressions, ideas, and thoughts. This allows them to discover patterns and understand complex or abstract data.
Tertiary: Extraverted Sensing
ENFJs' sense of extrovert causes them to be receptive to the present moment and gather specific details and conscious information from the environment. As a result, they are often looking for new or interesting experiences and feelings. ENFJs tend to be very mindful of their current environment. This can lead to an appreciation of aesthetics and a desire to create a peaceful area.
Inferior: Introverted Thinking
ENFJs are well organized, structured, and planned. Following a predictable schedule helps ENFJs feel in control of the world around them. Because this is a more inferior function, ENFPs may not be very confident in their own logical and organizational capabilities. Developing this functionality can help them feel more balanced and in control of their decision-making process. Ignoring this aspect of personality can lead to relying solely on individual values in decision making and neglecting logical needs.
IV. ENFJ Values and Motivations
1. ENFJ values
ENFJs are ideal organizers. They orient and implement their best visions for the collective and humanity.
ENFJs excel in the ability to pick out the values and competencies of others, share advantages from the collective, and apply it to a social group to create harmony.
ENFJs are energetic and oriented with lots of capabilities deep within. They can self-adjust to the needs of others in the collective, with anticipation and awareness, deep feelings, and empathy for other people's problems.
ENFJs always think about the future to improve themself, by intuition and optimistic inclinations.
ENFJs always want to connect closely with people, support, and collaborate with them at work. Besides, they are also very ambitious, however, their ambition is not personal but always towards the community to help everyone get better together.
2. ENFJ Motivations
ENFJs tend to be motivated by their relationships with others. They enjoy meeting and connecting with new people regularly while maintaining strong relationships with friends and family.
As natural planners, they are always stimulated by organization and custom. ENFJs can feel most comfortable when they can follow a consistent plan throughout the day.
ENFJs love to make a difference in their community and often feel motivated by a desire to bring about positive change. They tend to have high moral values and are likely to spend a lot of time focusing on helping others.
They tend to be motivated when they feel like others are genuinely interested in them. ENFJs want to feel loved by those around them and often focus on doing what they can to be appreciated and valued by their friends, family, and colleagues.
ENFJs can feel motivated when taking part in their own needs. They sometimes forget to take time to care for themselves, which can be detrimental to their health and well-being. When they can take a step back and focus on themselves, they'll feel a lot more energetic.
When ENFJs can participate in energizing work, they will feel better and more productive. They will be able to make good use of their abilities and enjoy the work they are doing, which will likely improve their overall level of engagement in the work environment.
V. Strengths and Weaknesses of ENFJs

Altruism. ENFJs are warm and selfless, always ready to help others. They are quite idealistic and motivated by the idea of doing something good for the world.
Empathy. ENFJs make it easy to sense what is driving, motivating, and even the worries of others, and can instinctively adjust their behavior and reasoning accordingly.
Inborn leadership. ENFJs are not looking for domination or governance, but people are drawn to their charm and eloquence. They tend to be open-minded and easy to accept, willing to consider opposing ideas as long as they don't contradict their inner principles. Therefore, they can easily get along with most other personality groups.
Reliability. ENFJs work hard on the things they consider the matter. If their role excites and motivates people around, ENFJs become very patient and reliable.
Independence. ENFPs do not like to be tightly regulated or restricted by regulations and guidelines. They want to be seen as a real independent individual – the master of their destiny.
2. ENFJ Weaknesses
Too complaisant. ENFJs often take on too much work or become deeply involved in other people's affairs, trying too hard not to offend or disappoint anyone.
Very idealistic. They are oftentimes too idealistic or even naive, believing that everyone is kind and cares about moral principles.
Too sensitive. ENFJs have core principles and values within them. They are vulnerable if someone criticizes them, neither do ENFJs stay calm in the face of negative criticism or opposition.
May find it difficult to make hard decisions. Due to their altruism and sensitivity, ENFJs fluctuate between different measures and cannot stop thinking about all possible consequences.
Self-esteem is easily shaken. The self-esteem of ENFJs depends on whether they can live up to their ideals and achieve their goals, while at the same time making sure that everyone around them is pleasant. If ENFJs' ideas are constantly criticized or they can't bring people closer to them, their confidence will likely reduce.
May have poor practice skills. ENFPs are great at solving problems, creating processes, or starting projects (especially if they involve others). However, they may find it difficult to adopt and put it into practice, besides managing things.
Overthinking. ENFPs are always looking for hidden motives and tend to overthink even the simplest of matters, constantly wondering why someone did what they did and how those things made sense.
Get stressed easily. ENFPs are quite sensitive and care deeply about the feelings of others. This can cause a lot of stress, as people tend to turn to ENFPs for guidance and encouragement. ENFPs cannot always say "yes".
Get distracted easily. ENFPs often lose interest quickly if their project changes towards simple, routine, or administrative work. They cannot stop idle thoughts in their heads.
VI. Personal Relationships of ENFJs
To some extent, ENFJs define themselves by being close and honest in their relationships, so they dedicate as much as possible as if it is their duty. They excel at offering good things and supporting others wholeheartedly.
1. Romantic relationship
ENFJs want their partners' agreement although it is difficult to ask about it. When a situation occurs, they become alert and sharp. After giving their opinions, they return to their warm nature. They may be inclined to show affection excessively with their beloved ones, but in general, ENFJs are appreciated for their sincerity and natural concern.
ENFJs feel most comfortable when they are in a relationship, they take dating and relationships seriously, choosing a partner in terms of developing a long term relationship. There is no greater pleasure for ENFJs than supporting the goals of the person they care about and the interweaving of lives that a committed relationship presents is the perfect opportunity to fulfill that.
Their Intuitive (N) trait helps them keep up with the mood swings often seen in relationships, but they will still create conversations about the feelings of both, potential problems, and things that they can do to work it out. While this can help reduce conflicts, they also run the risk of becoming overbearing or clingy when their good intentions are misinterpreted in the other direction of interrogating their partner.
ENFJs value their partner's happiness. Making the other person's goals come true is often in their greatest interest and they will spare no effort of helping their partner fulfill their dreams. However, their seeking of satisfaction may cause them to ignore their own needs, and they must express those needs at times, especially as soon as possible.
ENFJs' tendency to avoid any kind of conflict, even sometimes sacrificing their principles to keep the peace, can lead to lasting problems if these efforts never fully solve the underlying problems they hide.
On the other hand, they invest all of their emotions in their relationships, and sometimes their desire to please others to the point of actually ruining the relationship – which can lead to resentment and even the failure of the relationship. When this happens, ENFJs experience strong feelings of guilt and betrayal, as they see all their efforts slip away.
Even so, if a potential partner appreciates these qualities and works hard to meet the needs of ENFJs, they will enjoy a long, happy, and passionate relationship. ENFJs are known to be trustworthy lovers, perhaps more concerned with habits and stability than spontaneity in their sex lives, but always dedicated to their spouse's altruistic satisfaction. In the end, ENFJs believes that the only true happiness is shared happiness and that is what makes relationships successful.
2. Friendship
ENFJs are considered warm and kind by their friends because they enjoy getting to know and making friends with everyone. They easily communicate with people, including introverts. It is worth mentioning that ENFJs are quite selective about finding the closest friends – they value honesty and sincerity, so they are not always willing to open up intimately to everyone they know.
Because of their extroverted nature, ENFJs are enthusiastic in communication, trying to create connections and empathy with everyone around them. They want to find the best friends they can imagine. Such an approach is certainly commendable, but ENFJs need to make sure that their excessive enthusiasm does not suffocate others as sometimes they come on a little too strong. ENFJ friends are always supportive, cheerful, and devoted.
Although belonging to the Feeling group (F), ENFJs also give straightforward feedback when needed. ENFJs don't prefer this approach, but they are also quite determined and critical if the situation demands. It is hard to resist making friends with ENFJs, and although they can be a bit stiff at times, their energy and sincerity will calm everything.
ENFJs are capable and willing to work for their friendship and put it very high on their priorities list. They are happy to help people discover their strengths and passions, and then assist people in developing their potentials. This is not completely altruistic because ENFJs also want friends to pay back for their help – but of course, ENFJs will certainly be appreciated and highly respected due to their valuable qualities.
3. Parenthood
ENFJs are excellent parents who strive to strike a balance between being friends that encourage and support their children, while also attempting to create strong values and a sense of personal responsibility thanks to their innate leadership. They have a strong tendency to empathize with others, not forcing people to do what they have to do but instead helping them explore their advantages and encouraging them to follow their hearts.
ENFJ parents take pride in nurturing and inspiring great values, and they care to ensure that the basis for these values comes from understanding, not blind obedience. ENFJ parents devote the necessary time and energy to provide their children with whatever they need to learn and develop.
Due to their dislike of conflicts, ENFJ parents try to assure that their home provides a safe and conflict-free environment. Although they may offer criticism, that is not their strong point, and setting the necessary discipline can be difficult sometimes. However, ENFJ parents have high standards for their children and encourage them to be the best they can, and when these confrontations happen, they try to frame lessons as prototypes, moral constants in life that they hope their children will perceive.
As their children enter puberty, they begin to make their own decisions, sometimes contrary to what their parents want – while ENFJs will do their best to accommodate this with charm and a sense of humor, they can feel hurt and unloved in the face of this rebellion. ENFJs are very sensitive, and if their child goes too far to get into criticism, they can become annoyed, opposed, and argumentative.
Fortunately, these scenarios can be very rare. ENFJs' intuition gives them the ability to understand, and regardless of the moment of discomfort, their children will move forward, remembering the true warmth, concern, love, and encouragement they have always received from ENFJ parents. They grow up and feel the lessons woven into their character and realize that they get better through the efforts of their parents.
4. Relationship with other personality groups
For INFJ, ESFJ, ENFP groups: they have similar qualities and many things in common so it is easy for ENFJs to share values, interests, and approaches with these groups.
For INTJ, INFP, ENTP, ENTJ groups: they have some differences, however, these turn to be quite attractive to ENFJs. They still have few things in common to build a well-balanced relationship with these groups.
For ISFJ, INTP, ESTJ, ESFP groups: At first, ENFJs may have some difficulties accessing and connecting with these groups. Still, after knowing each other for a while, they will discover commonalities as well as other points of view that can complement each other.
For ISTP, ISTJ, ISFP, ESTP groups: these groups are quite distinct and contrast to ENFJs. But if it is possible to develop relationships with each other, ENFJs will learn and develop themselves from these groups, the challenges always come along with great opportunities.
VII. ENFJ Career Paths and Development Areas
The flexibility in personality makes ENFJs spend a lot of time choosing a career. Once ENFJs work in a supportive and motivating environment, they will perform excellently, especially in jobs that involve human communication and face the many challenges that stimulate their creativity.
When ENFJs look for a job, they are always interested in what they are passionate about, which is helping others. Therefore, they are suitable for the following career fields:
- Community and social services (Health Education, Marriage and Family Counselor);

- Office and administration.
Since they tend to be more Intuitive (N) than Observant (S), jobs that require special situational awareness, such as law enforcement, military service, and emergency response, will make ENFJs exhausted quickly. Although very good at organizing goodwill parties and winning over skeptics, in emergencies, ENFJs will not be able to maintain the immediate focus on their surroundings that they inevitably require at all times.
VIII. How ENFJs perform in the work and learning environment

They are interested in both social and science subjects, their favorite subjects that are sure to be related to learning about people and human needs. They love to work in a human environment while also having the freedom and self-respect to complete tasks. Also, to be completely happy at work, they need social interaction, help from the leaders, and good feedback from everyone.
ENFJs love leadership positions. Not only do ENFJs communicate with others but they also have an opportunity to lead people to do great things. They will be very caring leaders and know how to get others interested in their ideas and help. ENFJ's leadership style is wonderful. Usually, they encourage people to contribute and consider all the ideas, if there are differences in opinion among team members, they will do their best to create consensus and harmony. The ENFJ leader will always be the one who clearly defines the individual's duties, helps their subordinates in planning and implementation, and strives to meet the needs of all team members.
As colleagues, ENFJs' desire to support and cooperate becomes even more apparent as they engage their colleagues in groups where people can feel comfortable expressing their opinions and their proposals, jointly developing mutually beneficial situations to get the job done. ENFJs' tolerance, openness, and sociability make it easier for them to get in touch with their colleagues, but it can also easily get their colleagues to pass the responsibility to them. Because they are sensitive to the needs of others, they are often the ones to troubleshoot for others.
As subordinates, ENFJs will oftentimes underestimate themselves – however, they quickly impress their manager. Fast learning and outstanding multitasking, ENFJs can take on multiple responsibilities with energy and enthusiastic cheers. However, some managers will take advantage of the excellent quality of ENFJs by over-demanding and forcing them to take on more work. Due to their nature of dislike for conflict and attempt to avoid unnecessary criticism, they will most likely accept these additional missions to try to maintain a positive impression and a harmonious atmosphere.

III. Career matches for ENFJ Types to Avoid
In general, ENFJs should avoid jobs that do not play to their abilities. A job to avoid, for example, would be one that forces someone to work in isolation for days or even weeks at a time without having to connect with coworkers or team members. The following professions are considered to be unsuitable for ENFJ personality types.
Once again, Try this test if you're unclear about your personality type.
1. Careers with Monotonous Work
ENFJ personalities are not well-suited to professions that demand them to perform the same thing day after day. These professions do not need much innovation or potential for advancement. Working at a warehouse or distribution facility, for example, may include performing the same task day after day.
Another profession to avoid is that of a bank teller. Although it does entail face-to-face encounters with consumers, those conversations typically leave little to no space for creativity or the development of a working connection with the customer.
Furthermore, the monotony of being a tour operator would most certainly be a detriment to the ENFJ personality type. Although you get to work with individuals, it is not a long-term relationship because you will very certainly never see the visitors again after the trip. Furthermore, following the same path, multiple times a day reduces new chances for creativity.
2. Jobs that Lack Creativity
ENFJ personality types should also avoid professions that do not enable them to express themselves creatively. When repairing a car, for example, an auto-mechanic is typically required to follow the manufacturer's instructions and lacks the creative ability to solve the problem on their own.
3. Jobs that involve little to no contact with others
People, rather than systems and procedures, inherently attract ENFJs. As a result, any profession in IT or computers is likely to be a poor fit for this personality type.
An analytical approach to problem-solving is also required for roles in the IT business. As a result, they are most suited to introverted types that like logical, inner thinking, as opposed to the ENFJ, who favors creative and interpersonal working techniques.
The ENFJ's people-focused mentality, like that of IT, renders them unfit to the studious, sometimes lonely, research setting.
Furthermore, while professions in this sector are primarily focused on positive change and societal betterment, ENFJs prefer to attain these goals by direct action. As a result, the systematic, measured nature of scientific inquiry would be unsatisfying for this personality type.

On the other hand, it could be the villain ENFJ characters who use their social skills to their advantage and manipulate people to get what they want. For example, Hans Westergaard from Frozen used his charm to persuade Elsa to trust him and eventually fall in love with him.

ENFJ Enneagram
The different Enneagram types have a significant impact on how ENFJs express their personalities. This is known as the ENFJ enneagram.
I. The overview of ENFJ enneagram
It is critical to remember that the MBTI and the Enneagram are two distinct systems that explain two distinct aspects of our thought processes and behavioral tendencies. The MBTI, for the most part, attempts to explain information orientation and communication through cognitive functions, whereas the Enneagram attempts to explain the underlying dynamics that motivate us toward our desires and away from our fears.
To put it bluntly, Enneagram guides us toward our wants and needs, whereas MBTI equips us with the tools to orient and communicate those wants and needs, both to ourselves and to others.
However, there are some strong correlations between the MBTI and the Enneagram, which has resulted in some unfortunate stereotypes and misunderstandings that may alienate many people who read about either system.
To put it another way, we try to explain too much of our desires through MBTI and too much of our expression and communication style through the Enneagram, based on what I call the MBTI Enneagram overlap. If you have a not-so-common MBTI and Enneagram pairing, you may feel that neither system adequately describes you, because these two tests place far too much emphasis on the stereotypes that high correlations imply.
When we look at one‟s personality type and the nine possible enneagram types that could pair with it, we have a great opportunity to better understand ourselves!
Not sure what your personality type is? Take the official MBTI here.
The different Enneagram types have a significant impact on how ENFJs express their personalities. Each Enneagram type produces a unique type of ENFJ. This is due to the fact that each Enneagram type influences how the ENFJ uses their Fe.
When we combine these factors, the result is something far more comprehensive than the simple factor of "caring about people," which is a misnomer based on a misunderstanding of the definition of the word "extroversion."
To distinguish between social attitude and mental perspective, Jung's definition is spelled 'extraversion.' Fe is defined much more broadly and literally as "feeling-based reasoning oriented outwardly." As a result, our Enneagram type has a strong influence on how we express our Fe.
While the MBTI type indicates our perspectives, the Enneagram reveals our motivations. For ENFJs, this means that our Enneagram type will flavor the focus of our Fe because our motivations influence our outward feelings.
People with the ENFJ enneagram strive to keep their inner peace as well as the peace and harmony of their surroundings.
They are curious about all types of people and may be able to relate to people of all personality types.
Instead, for greater privacy, personal time will be spent only with those who are equally sensitive and share their values.
Occurrence frequency of ENFJ enneagram:
Most common: Type 2 (42%);
Usual: Type 3, Type 4 and Type 9;
Rare: Type 1, Type 6, Type 7 and Type 8;
Impossible: Type 5.
II. The ENFJ Enneagram with 9 Types
1. ENFJ enneagram Type 1
Fe manifests most strongly in this type as a sense of right and wrong, of how things should be. We see Fe's desire to control the user's environment and apply ideological truth more than Fe's desire to care about others in this type. The ENFJ enneagram type 1 is commonly 1w2.
2. ENFJ enneagram Type 2
This is the most popular type for ENFJs, so it's no surprise that Fe manifests as concern and care for others. (Type 2 with one wing: 13%; Type 2 with three wings: 87% )
Because this combination is so common, Enneagram Type 2 sensibilities are included in many standard descriptions of ENFJs. If you are an Enneagram type other than ENFJ, this will explain why some of the ENFJ description isn't quite accurate for you.
The majority of ENFJ respondents identified 2 as their Enneagram type. Given that the type 2 ENFJ enneagram is highly correlated with the ENFJ's dominant function extroverted feeling, it's no surprise that the majority of them identified their Enneagram type as such.
Type 2 ENFJs are outgoing, sociable, and friendly people. They are usually very involved in charity work or other helping professions and are very active members of their community.
As intuitive-auxiliary types, the ENFJ will seek to help those around them not only in a practical sense, but also on a deep emotional level. They will make an effort to get others to open up to them about their vulnerabilities and struggles in order to assist them in sorting through their complex emotional problems.
The type 2 ENFJ enneagram believes that they are only worthy insofar as they are helpful to others. They are constantly shifting from feelings of worthlessness to feelings of love, verification, and recognition. In nature, they are most similar to their sensing cousin-type, the ESFJ.
3. ENFJ enneagram Type 3
Fe manifests as a sense of how things should be and the motivation to make them so. There is also a clear sense of where the individual should be socially, as well as an expectation of how others will react. ENFJs of type 3 are frequently 3w2 (Type 3 with a 2 wing: 56 percent; Type 3 with a 4 wing: 44 percent.)
A sizable proportion of ENFJs identified as type 3 on the Enneagram. Though this type is primarily associated with the cognitive function of extroverted thinking, it is entirely possible for an extroverted-feeling dominant type to internalize the values of their community in such a way that they adopt type 3 characteristics.
ENFJs with type 3 are highly organized, motivated, and goal-oriented. They are bright and charming, and they use their interpersonal skills to naturally rise to positions of leadership. These ENFJs will take special pride in being role models for others. They are likely to be well-known and well-respected members of their community.
At their core, type 3 ENFJs believe that they are only worthy insofar as they are successful in the eyes of others. They are constantly striving to shift from feelings of worthlessness to feelings of impressiveness and achievement. They are most similar to the ENTJ, their thinking-dominant cousin type.
This type is an outlier in this discussion because it does not appear to correlate strongly with just one (set) of cognitive functions. Instead, it appears to be related to both Ne and Ni, as well as Te and Fe. As a result, ENTJs, (male) ENFJs, and ENTPs appear to be commonly typed as Enneagram 3, despite the fact that ENTJs are far ahead of the rest.
Not many introverts appear to correlate with Enneagram type 3, which may explain why so many descriptions of 3s emphasize their extroverted behavior. Enneagram 3 is motivated by a desire to be admired, which may cause both ENTJs and ENFJs to adapt their behavior and personality to fit the situation.
The ENTJ accomplishes this through learned behavior (Te-drive), whereas the ENFJ accomplishes this by "reading" the room and changing accordingly (Fe-drive). Separating ENFJ and ENTJ type 3 behavior can be difficult in some cases.
This explains why, according to many Enneagram 3 descriptions, they frequently adapt their "presentation" of themselves based on the perceived audience. It may also explain why many ENFJs are described as "social chameleons," whereas ENTJs try to impress through memorized pick-up lines and interesting stories.
4. ENFJ enneagram Type 4
Fe manifests as a self-centered sense of how things should be for the individual as well as their environment, emphasizing aesthetics, conventions, and their individual tastes. These ENFJs can be very elitist and have strong feelings about these issues. Type 4 ENFJs have a particularly strong Ni, which can lead to confusion with INFJs or INFPs.
5. ENFJ enneagram Type 5
These ENFJs are quite rare, but when they manifest as type 5, these ENFJs are very concerned with what they know to be correct and incorrect, as well as their desire to be useful to the people they care about. Type 5 ENFJs frequently have a high Ti.
6. ENFJ enneagram Type 6
These ENFJs demonstrate their Fe through a well-balanced mix of concern for others, social status, security, loyalty, ideology, and physical environment. This is a less common ENFJ Enneagram type, but it is the most balanced use of Fe, focusing on everything Fe is used for in a fairly even manner.
7. ENFJ enneagram Type 7
Fe manifests itself as a whirlwind of concern for others fueled by a desire to have fun. ENFJs are the life and soul of the party. While other Type 7s can be very self-serving in their pursuit of fun, excitement, and happiness, ENFJ 7s use their Fe to ensure that everyone else is having a good time as well. ENFJ 7s are similar to lively 2s in some ways.
8. ENFJ enneagram Type 8
Because of a need for justice in an unjust world, these ENFJs primarily manifest Fe's need for right and wrong and to control their environment. Fe's sense of how things should be includes self sufficiency, character strength, and independence, which may appear contradictory to Fe's standard definition. ENFJ 8s almost always have a high Se and are frequently 8w9s.
9. ENFJ enneagram Type 9
Through Fe's sense of how things should be, Fe manifests as a desire for harmony in the environment. Things should be in order for an ENFJ 9. Right and wrong, caring for others, and environmental control are all important, but they pale in comparison to the need for harmony. ENFJ 9s are frequently 9w1s.

Swimming is the best workout since it works both their lower and upper body. According to the American Journal of Cardiology, swimming may enhance their mood and extend their lives.
ENFJ-A
If you are an ENFJ, you most likely have an A at the end of your result (ENFJ-A). In this post, I'll explain what it implies and what you may expect.
I. ENFJ-A meaning
The ENFJ personality type is one of the 16 personality types. As a result, the ENFJ-A personality type includes four cognitive functions: extraversion, intuition, feeling, and judging. ENFJ-A, in particular, also has an assertiveness function.
The letter A in ENFJ-A stands for assertiveness. As a result, ENFJ-As are known as Assertive Protagonists. Assertive personalities are more self-assured and confident. They are emotionally stable and at ease in their own flesh.
Assertive personality types are typically self-assured. The majority of Asserters are animated, passionate, and commanding in their demeanor. They typically have no trouble expressing their rage or participating in a heated debate.
People with ENFJ-A personalities are more self-assured and excel in leadership jobs. They do not have many self-doubts or personalize things. They are at ease in their own skin and deal with emotions and stress in a calm and collected manner. It may, however, impair their capacity to relate to and empathize with others. They are emotionally educated people who can rely on rationality when necessary. Most of the time, ENFJ-As make their own judgments and are reluctant to question their own judgment.
If you aren’t sure about your personality type, you may want to take this test first
II. ENFJ-A Characteristics
1. Self-confidence and leadership
Assertive protagonists are more self-assured than other ENFJ types. This enables them to be forceful and charismatic, particularly in leadership situations. However, they may be rather domineering for others at times.
Assertive Protagonists may be also able to control their inclination to take things personally to a greater extent.
2. Personalization and Self-esteem
Assertive protagonists have a low inclination to personalize circumstances, especially when they do not live up to their expectations. They also do not succumb to self-doubt too fast. Assertive Protagonists may be able to maintain their self-esteem if they realize that they are not living up to their standards. Instead of worrying about their talents, this ability can be beneficial for driving an agenda ahead.
3. Body image and Empathy
When it comes to body image, assertive protagonists are less prone to be anxious. Because they are at ease in their own skin, their own appearance, they find it challenging to connect with people who are not. As a result, they are prone to lack empathy. Assertive Protagonists may be unable to elicit the same level of empathy.
4. Approach to Emotions
On an emotional level, assertive protagonists (ENFJ-A) are often emotionally stable. They can manage their own emotions as well as the emotions of others. They are emotionally sophisticated individuals, we may say. They attempt to shield themselves from harm.
When people are genuinely wounded, they concentrate on pain management. They despise being exposed. We may claim that these people are more objective and less affected by their emotions. They can separate themselves from their emotions and make rational judgments.
Assertive Protagonists may believe that they are unlikely to be wounded — or that if they are hurt, the suffering will be bearable. This perception of increased invulnerability may provide a protective shell over Assertive Protagonists' sentiments, allowing them to be more detached when necessary. They are more inclined to deal with individuals gently. This more relaxed approach may be especially beneficial in stressful situations when the presence of calmer heads might be beneficial.
5. Approach to Stress
The assertive protagonist handles emotional and stressful events in a cool and collected manner. They regard stress as a natural element of life that must be conquered.
The stresses that one sort of Protagonist confronts are not always more or lesser than those that the other faces. Assertive Protagonists are almost twice as likely as others to say they handle stress effectively. These people usually anticipate stress to be a part of life and see it as normal and something to be excited about. They may even inspire others of various personality types to join them in their quest to triumph over such adversity.
ENFJ-A wants to be able to get things done without always feeling unsettled and overworked. They want to focus on being properly stressed in order to get things done, rather than continuously being nervous and frightened that they will not be able to get things done the way they want to. While this can be difficult for the ENFJ, some have a much more laid-back personality.
They frequently learnt this skill from their loved ones, and they understand they are better when they are a little more relaxed about things. People who are ENFJ-A are concerned with making others happy and want to be able to enjoy the company of those they care about. To genuinely accomplish this, people must sometimes let go of some things and refrain from stressing over minor details or things over which they have no control all of the time.
6. Reliance on others and Decision making
Assertive protagonists can make decisions without consulting others for permission or guidance. They are more self-sufficient. These characteristics enable them to be self-sufficient.
The ENFJ-A personality type is extremely opinionated. This implies that they will seldom seek the advice of others before making a choice. This originates from their desire to be free and self-sufficient.
This is not to say that they do everything on their own. They can seek guidance if they are confused, but they don't question themselves or worry too much about making the incorrect decision.
Assertive Protagonists (ENFJ-A) are more self-assured than their Turbulent counterparts (ENFJ-T). Many people believe they don't need the advice of others while making critical decisions. This enables them to do what they need to do without the baggage that might accompany involving others in decision-making. That doesn't imply they're loners by any means. They are still Extraverts, boosted by the Feeling personality characteristic, thus there will most certainly be lots of people around. However, Assertive Protagonists frequently exhibit a strong sense of independence.
Assertive Protagonists (ENFJ-A) are more likely to be impartial and less affected by emotions. They do, however, make decisions using a broader, more constant emotional filter, as do all Feeling personality types.
7. Being Social and Assertive
ENFJs are naturally sociable individuals who are not hesitant to take leadership of a situation. They are often self-assured in their talents and abilities, which allows them to enter these situations without fear of the outcome. ENFJs are naturally extroverted persons who like interacting with others. Stepping into social settings may be fun for them since it allows them to meet new people and get to know them better.
They are inspired by the presence of people and, in order to feel like themselves, they must create relationships. For the ENFJ, socializing is vital, and being among others frequently brings them comfort and joy. They are extroverted and sociable people, which helps them when it comes to socializing and being in large crowds.
ENFJs are inherently aggressive, which benefits the type A ENFJ even more. They aren't afraid to take control when the circumstance calls for it, and they can step in when others can't. They come into these situations prepared for them and are typically able to manage the issues with little worry or dread.
ENFJs are secure in their capacity to understand people and easily inspire and connect with them, so they know they can take on the position of leader. This self-assurance is what allows the ENFJ to lead others and guide them along the best route for resolving whatever issues they may face.
8. Self-starter
ENFJs are naturally energetic individuals who do not sit around waiting for things to happen. This adds to the ENFJ-A personality since they are not scared to make things happen. Instead of letting self-doubt and fear to hold them back, they are eager to pursue the things they need and require in life.
ENFJs frequently focus on doing these things for those around them, yet they are also forward-thinking and driven individuals. They don't sit around second-guessing their decisions since they understand that hesitation can lead to failure or falling behind.
When the ENFJ feels sure of themselves, they are confident in their skills and are far more competent at completing tasks. This confidence is frequently what allows the ENFJ to be go-getters and attain the things that are most important to them.
The distinction here is that type A ENFJs are far less frightened of failure than other ENFJs. The ENFJ-A personality is less scared of these flaws and is more inclined to accept them as they are. They are fine with making errors as long as they can keep moving forward and accomplish what is important to them.
They have a more relaxed approach to these blunders, so they aren't as concerned about things not working flawlessly every time. These are undoubtedly less frequent qualities among ENFJs, as they are typically perfectionists, which can be difficult for them to resist. This is why ENFJs frequently test somewhere in the center, exhibiting both turbulent and aggressive characteristics in roughly equal amount.
The ENFJ who is less of a perfectionist may tolerate little faults in the hopes of making the overall picture more significant and useful to themselves and people around them. They become far less irritated over little mistakes or shortcomings as long as the people they love are happy and cared for. This sort of ENFJ understands that they cannot manage everything, but they are focused on ensuring that everyone is pleased and that the most essential things are running well.
III. ENFJ-A Career Choices
Assertive ENFJs typically perform well in more tedious and difficult professions. Assertive ENFJ personalities (ENFJ-A) are more self-assured and assertive in their approach to life. This makes them less receptive to other people's counsel and more at ease with stress. Here are some of the professional choices available to an ENFJ-A personality type.
Lawyer;
Fitness trainer;
Advertising manager;
Public relations Manager;

ENFJ-T
The results of an MBTI assessment show that you are an ENFJ-T type. So what is special about this T-type in terms of character and meaning?
I. ENFJ-T meaning
Carl Jung proposed that humans receive and process information through specific cognitive processes. ENFJ personalities may be classified into two kinds based on whether they have the Assertive (A) or Turbulent (T) function. There are two dominant functions, each of which explains a dominating aspect of a person's personality.
There are two more cognitive processes that explain a smaller portion of a person's personality but have their own relevance. These functions govern how an individual receives, processes, and applies information to make everyday decisions.
ENFJ-T has the turbulence function, whereas ENFJ-A has the assertiveness function. Turbulence is represented by the letter T in ENFJ-T T. As a result, ENFJ-Ts are referred to as Turbulent Protagonists. ENFJ-T people are less self-assured, emotional, and self-conscious.
Turbulent personalities strive for perfection in their approach. They are self-conscious and fear making errors. They are easily overwhelmed and respond emotionally to circumstances. They aspire to be better and work on themselves to improve as individuals.
People with the ENFJ-T personality type are less confident, yet their humility makes them modest leaders. They are aware of their physique and self-image, sometimes personalise issues, and struggle with self-doubt. They can deal with stress at times, but it may sometimes overwhelm them.
ENFJ-Ts are more inclined to empathize with others and to experience and act on their emotions. Because they mistrust their own judgment, they rely heavily on the counsel of others when making decisions. Inquiring for guidance provides them with a sense of comfort and reassurance.
Because they are more highly strung and prone to stress, ENFJs are more often assessed in the type T personality. ENFJs are natural perfectionists, and while they may fall anywhere in the middle, holding both features, they are more prone to stormy tendencies.
If you aren’t sure about your personality type, try taking this test.
II. ENFJ-T Characteristics
1. Self-confidence and leadership
Turbulent protagonists believe they are less assured. As a result, they appear humble and not overpowering as leaders. Instead, they are humble and modest.
The modesty of Turbulent Protagonists may assist them to remain more resistant to such excesses than their Assertive counterparts. The erratic lack of confidence may further accentuate the oversensitivity that this character trait is prone to.
Because Protagonists are charismatic and natural leaders, this Turbulent inclination may not always be obvious. This self-evaluation can help Turbulent Protagonists remain modest in their leadership. Protagonists who carry their crusades and feelings of justice too far can become oppressive.
2. Personalization and Self-esteem
Turbulent protagonists do have a propensity to personalize circumstances when things do not go as planned. They are prone to self-doubt and worry about their skills.
ENFJ-T personalities identify themselves by their own, often extremely rigid criteria. If they are unable (or no longer able) to live up to their personal ideal image, their self-esteem suffers. Their uncertainty expresses itself in desperate-appearing demands for input from others. How can I better myself? This is the notion that always drives the ENFJ-T. Defeats are tough for these people to accept.
Turbulent Protagonists are prone to combining their slightly more emotional character with the challenging conditions they confront. Such emotions may undermine their ability to remain calm in stressful situations. They may feel overwhelmed and out of control as a result of the combo.
3. Body image and Empathy
Turbulent Protagonists typically struggle with body image issues and are concerned about how others view them. They are self-conscious and uncomfortable in their own flesh. Although this might make things emotionally challenging for them, it allows them to relate to people who share their sentiments. As a result, individuals have a higher sense of empathy since they can put themselves in the shoes of others.
In an ideal world, one's appearance is unimportant. Body image may appear to be superficial. However, it can have an influence on a personality type like Protagonists, who are typically more "public" in some way.
Turbulent Protagonists may act with even less conviction if they are not comfortable in their own skin, reflecting their lack of confidence. This increased self-consciousness may affect many aspects of their lives, but it may also help them relate to many other individuals who feel similarly "less than."
Turbulent Protagonists are also more inclined to empathize with people in comparable situations. This sensitivity brings them closer to individuals who require compassion rather than inspiration.
4. Approach to Emotions
On an emotional level, turbulent protagonists (ENFJ-T) are more likely to be emotionally unstable. They have slightly less emotional control. They take on the feelings of others when they express their own. This might have a detrimental impact on their mental health. These personalities are more reliant on emotions and, as a result, behave emotionally. Their decisions are influenced by their principles and how they feel about a particular issue.
When making decisions, both Assertive and Turbulent Protagonists are guided by broad emotions, but this does not necessarily inform us how these types deal with fleeting emotional states. Both sorts of Protagonists have a tendency to take on other people's troubles as their own. Turbulent Protagonists may be more prone to experience their emotions on a regular basis, which may enhance this propensity. Sharing the emotions of others might improve Turbulent Protagonists' compassion. However, if carried too far, it might weigh them down.
To avoid extremes, it's worth noting that half of Turbulent Protagonists believe they have control over their emotions. This trait may be present in both types, although it is more likely to be found in Assertive Protagonists.
5. Approach to Stress
ENFJ-Ts are easily stressed by the judgment of others, especially those they care about. They are concerned with how others see them and are prone to taking criticism personally. ENFJs will learn to reject unjustified criticism and receive input from friends and family in a healthier, more productive way when they are able to feel secure in their skills and remove themselves from other people's judgments.
Turbulent personalities are more prone to stress, although they can manage problems calmly half of the time. They see stress as something that elicits their emotions and causes them to feel overwhelmed. However, this allows individuals to better comprehend others, particularly those who are going through a tough period. It instills in them a sense of compassion.
Motivation may be lacking in the ENFJ-T. As a result, they may struggle to deal with the difficulties. Because they are more withdrawn than the average ENFJ, they may not progress as quickly as their peers.
ENFJs should learn to replace negative ideas with good ones and seek out companions when they find there is a need to talk about their thoughts.
6. Reliance on others and Decision making
When making a major decision, turbulent protagonists are more inclined to seek approval and guidance from others. They question themselves and are concerned about making mistakes as a result of their lack of self-confidence. Consultation provides them with a sense of comfort and reassurance. They will frequently wish to hear the perspectives of those they respect. This can be beneficial since the ENFJ-T will be able to make better decisions.
Because of their extroverted character, most Turbulent Protagonists are more likely to seek the advice of others while making a decision. Due to their relatively reduced feeling of confidence, they may not feel safe taking an action without external influence. Trusted counsel can be soothing – or it might persuade Turbulent Protagonists not to make significant mistakes. In any case, these Protagonists and the people in their life are likely to have greater quality interactions.
People with ENFJ-T are more inclined to solicit feedback and engage in more substantial interactions with the people in their life.
Turbulent Protagonists are more prone to be reactive and emotional. Identity is about highlighting common characteristics with a distinct tint within the same basic color.
7. Being turbulent
In professional and social situations, turbulent ENFJ-T, who are typically called "thinner-skinned," are more reluctant to put themselves out there, maybe thinking that they would be criticized or upset by others. According to Big Five research, social disengagement is associated with high neuroticism. ENFJ-T individuals are cautious and observant, and they are always vital to society and keep it secure.
At the same time, a fear of stagnation can spark significant change. Individuals who are prone to turbulence do an excellent job of covering both. When these people balance their fears and concerns with constructive action, they are more likely to be of tremendous value.
ENFJ-Ts have a need to master everything, which frequently enables them to be prepared for the unexpected occurrences that life throws at us. Where discontent is frowned upon, it may also be used to acquire and perfect new abilities that will benefit you in the long term.
8. Being self-conscious
Individuals with this characteristic are more self-conscious and sensitive to their own feelings. They are more success driven, perfectionistic, and hungry for development. They feel a wide range of emotions and may find it difficult to manage them. These people frequently change professions when they feel trapped and spend a lot of time wondering about where their lives are heading.
Turbulent ENFJ-T individuals, on the other hand, always feel the need to be more and have more, and they frequently forget how exhausting this can be for themselves and others. This might be due to an innate urge to push themselves to their limits. Their own sentiments and ambitions might become entwined with those of others, making it difficult to establish clear boundaries and determine what is essential to their own inner emotions and objectives.
III. ENFJ-T Career Choices
The ENFJ-A and ENFJ-T personality types will have relatively comparable job options. The primary distinctions in employment choices between these two categories will, however, be the conditions surrounding them.
Turbulent ENFJs can do well, although they may be better suited to occupations that are more people-oriented. Turbulent ENFJ personalities (ENFJ-T) appreciate other people's views and are hence more sensitive to disagreement. They may feel self-conscious and uneasy, especially in stressful or emotional circumstances. They are, nevertheless, better at empathizing with others.
Therefore, some career matches may be suited to ENFJ-T:
School counselor;
High school teacher;
Writer;
Preschool teacher;
Photographer;
Real estate broker.
ENFJ Compatibility & Relationship
In this article, we will discuss ENFJ compatibility with all MBTI personality types and describe how ENFJs interact in relationships.
I. ENFJ compatibility
ENFJ personalities can get along well with INFJ, ESFJ, ENFP, and ENFJ personalities since they have many similarities and can easily relate to each other.
They may also relate with INTJ, INFP, ENTP, and ENTJ because their personalities are similar yet distinct. This creates a strong attraction and interest in them for one another.
Aside from that, ENFJs get along well with ISFJs, INTPs, ESTJs, and ESFPs since their personalities complement each other well. Where one partner falls short, the other may step up and make up for it, and vice versa.
As a result, the nature of these interactions is more balanced. Finally, ENFJs would have a difficult time developing and maintaining a relationship with ISTP, ISTJ, ISFP, and ESTP since their interests, values, and attitude to life are diametrically opposed. They would have a tough time connecting with one other.
If you are unsure about your personality type, you should take this test first.
II. ENFJ compatibility in Romantic Relationships
1. In a romantic relationship, ENFJ MBTI types bring strengths
ENFJ people are devoted to their love relationships. In contrast to other personalities, they take the process of choosing a mate very seriously. They are encouraging their spouse to achieve their objectives and are helpful in their relationship. These folks seek for methods to assist and benefit someone they care about. In a relationship, they play the position of someone who is dependable and trustworthy.
Listening to their partner's point of view empathically. ENFJs are great listeners. They are attentive and compassionate, usually putting aside their own views in order to listen to their partner before jumping to conclusions.
They are ardent protectors of their beloved, ready to fight for them when required. They have a tendency of often thinking about the future of the relationship, which helps them to go forward with continuous confidence.
Despite their proclivity for mood swings, they strive to regulate them by talking about their feelings and checking in with their spouse about how they feel about things in their relationship. This method assists them in avoiding disputes and arguments.
It doesn't take much to make an ENFJ pleased with their love relationship. They are content as long as they know their spouse is happy, and they exhibit their devotion openly.
They can have a solid and long-lasting bond if their spouse recognizes these ENFJ traits, notably their emotional involvement and evident attempts to keep them happy and sustain the relationship.
ENFJs are dependable lovers who like a regular framework in their relationship lives. They dislike spontaneity and taking risks, but they are prepared to put out an effort if it means making their spouse happy. They are unselfish and committed to their relationship's mutual satisfaction. They can have a fantastic, joyful, and long-lasting bond if they discover the appropriate individual for this.
2. In romantic relationships, ENFJ MBTI types may have trouble
In an ENFJ compatibility love relationship, they frequently opt to silently and quietly observe their companion settle any quarrels. However, repeated check-ins might make them appear clingy and needy, alienating their spouse.
They may struggle to deal with unexpected events, which may lead to them expressing their frustrations on their partner.
ENFJs, on the other hand, may be able to learn to manage with their frustrations in a healthier, more productive manner if they recognize the issue and strive for change. ENFJs must learn to find a healthy balance in order to avoid becoming unsatisfied with their relationship.
ENFJs prioritize ensuring their partner's goals are met and that they are living their dream. Although this makes them extremely beautiful and caring in the relationship, if they are too focused on what their spouse wants and needs, they wind up disregarding themselves.
This might result in latent sentiments of animosity in them, as well as an imbalance in the give-and-take component of their relationship. It is critical that these people take the time to convey their desires to their partners, especially on significant occasions such as birthdays and Christmas.
Another characteristic of ENFJs is that they seek to avoid confrontations, especially since they make too many compromises in order to maintain peace and harmony in their relationship. This keeps things under control for a while, but when big issues and ill sentiments go untreated, they can blow out of proportion at some point and cause long-term difficulties.
Others may perceive their conflict resolution style as adaptable, especially as ENFJs solicit comments, criticism, and recommendations from their love partners and want to better themselves as a romantic partner. By using this technique, they hope to avoid things from escalating in the future.
Though this conceals their neediness and willingness to satisfy the other person in the relationship, it may generate emotions of resentment and lay the groundwork for their relationship to collapse in the near future. Furthermore, they begin to feel as though their efforts are futile and begin to blame themselves. In extreme circumstances, they may even believe that their spouse deceived them and that the connection was one-sided.
III. ENFJ compatibility relationship with all types
The compatibility of ENFJ with other personality types is discussed further below.
1. ENFJ compatibility with personalities similar to them
Because of their similarities, ENFJs may interact with INFJ, ESFJ, ENFP, and ENFJ personalities. These people connect because they share a similar outlook on life, the same values, and comparable hobbies. It is not necessary for these people to have a smooth relationship and agree on everything simply though they have many similarities.
Like any other relationships, they would have disputes and problems. The only difference is that they will be able to establish a solid connection and relate to one other more easily. In a nutshell, the relationship would be more natural.
ENFJ and INFJ Compatibility
These two have a lot in common and are extremely well understood by one other. Both kinds place a high priority on communications, trust, and self-expression. Both are sympathetic, warm, and loving.
Their primary distinction is introversion/extroversion, which means that the ENFJ is far more pleasant and enthusiastic than the INFJ. Waiting for the INFJ to make up his or her mind about anything may be quite irritating, given the ENFJ's inherent inclination to act swiftly.
ENFJ and ESFJ Compatibility
The ESFJ is another great match for the ENFJ. Because both are highly devoted, compassionate, and relationship-focused, an ENFJ & ESFJ relationship may be very rewarding.
Because ESFJs are sociable and chatty, they are likely to have many fascinating discussions and a busy social life. ENFJs and ESFJs both seek harmony and are inclined to work on their relationship.
On the bad side, because they are both quite chatty, they may occasionally fight for airtime. Another possible difficulty is their tendency to avoid difficult talks, which may result in certain issues remaining unsolved.
ENFJ and ENFP Compatibility
Although ENFPs are not ideal spouses, they do get along well with ENFJs. They have a lot in common, and being in a relationship with an ENFP is never dull or uninteresting.
There are, however, significant disparities between the two that might make the ENFJ partner very unhappy. ENFPs, for example, may struggle with commitment difficulties, which ENFJs are not seeking for.
ENFJ and ENFJ Compatibility
ENFJ and ENFJ relationships must be fantastic since both regard their relationship to be a priority and are prepared to work hard to improve it.
ENFJ & ENFJ couples that are energetic and industrious like planning their future together, are encouraging of each other, and feel especially comfortable since they can trust each other.
On the negative side, they may have difficulties since they are both extremely obstinate and have strong opinions. If their points of view differ, neither is prepared to compromise.
2. ENFJ compatibility with personalities that are slightly different from theirs
Based on similarities and contrasts, ENFJs will be able to form strong bonds with INTJ, INFP, ENTP, and ENTJ. Interacting with someone who is similar but not the same would make such relationships appealing to ENFJs. They'd sense a connection with them and be interested in them. Their connection would be more balanced because it would include both opportunities to bond based on commonality and opportunities to grow based on differences.
INTJ and ENFJ compatibility
ENFJs and INTJs both like intellectual stimulation. They examine the environment and try to find out why things are the way they are, looking for less obvious connections between things.
Both want to be productive and like creating and achieving objectives. Problems may develop as a result of their disparate priorities. The focus of an ENFJ is their intellectual pursuits and profession.
An INTJ, on the other hand, is the most autonomous personality type who is mainly concerned with their intellectual interests and career. The INTJ may not pay as much attention to their ENFJ spouse as they should, leaving them angry and unsatisfied.
ENFJ and INFP Compatibility
Because both ENFJ and INFP are relationship-oriented, they might make an excellent match. They are both extremely nice people who respect genuineness and dislike playing games.
ENFJs, on the other hand, may consider INFPs to be rather lethargic and may dislike them for being assigned an unusually large number of tasks and domestic chores.
ENFJ and ENTP Compatibility
ENFJs and ENTPs have many characteristics, including being impulsive, fun-loving, energetic, and extroverted.
The ENTP, being the most introverted extravert, is more aggressive and requires alone time. The two are likely to have stimulating conversations and to be highly supportive of one other's endeavors.
Problems may develop as a result of their differing planning preferences. The ENTP likes to keep his or her choices open, whereas the ENFJ prefers to plan ahead of time.
ENFJ and ENTJ compatibility
Both ENFJs and ENTJs are forward-thinking. They like creating plans, establishing objectives, and achieving them. While ENFJs are primarily concerned with their relationship, ENTJs are concerned with developing their job or business.
Of course, there is a downside: ENFJs tend to take everything personally, whereas ENTJs may be extremely direct when expressing their thoughts.
What the ENTJ considers helpful criticism may come off as harsh to the ENFJ. The ENTJ, on the other hand, may believe that the ENFJ constantly overreacts to everything, which can be exhausting and annoying to the ENTJ.
3. ENFJ compatibility with complementary personalities
ENFJs may get along well with ISFJs, INTPs, ESTJs, and ESFPs since their personalities complement each other. They wouldn't really, nevertheless, sense an instant connection with them the first time they met. As they spend time getting to know one another, they will find that they can learn a lot from such partners and develop to be more balanced as they spend effort finding to know one another.
ENFJ compatibility and ISFJ
Although ISFJs and ENFJs have more similarities than differences, their basic beliefs are similar: they cherish connections and want to be useful and respected.
Problems may emerge as a result of their disparate requirements for socialization. The ISFJ, like other introverted types, may find the ENFJ excessively noisy and passionate.
ENFJ and INTP Compatibility
ENFJs and INTPs have nothing in common, but they both make devoted lovers. The ENFJ admires the INTP's independence and inventiveness, while the INTP admires the ENFJ's warmth, vitality, and optimism.
INTPs' reluctance to participate in social activities is a major issue for ENFJs, who need social experiences and love meeting new people. Furthermore, the INTP isn't especially chatty, and the ENFJ partner will continually try to get them to open up and communicate.
ENFJ and ESTJ Compatibility
ESTJs are drawn to ENFJs because of their warmth, optimism, and unique style of thinking. ENFJ is someone who can provide the ENFJ with the safe and secure connection they want.
On the other side, the creative ENFJ may get bored with his or her down-to-earth ESTJ spouse. ENFJs like someone who is more romantic, but ESTJs are inherently realistic, pragmatic, and businesslike.
ENFJ Compatibility and ESFP
Both ENFJ and ESFP like people, and their lives are likely to be full of friends, family, and social gatherings. ESFPs may appear to be a perfect fit since they are energetic and fun-loving, but let's be honest: ESFPs have commitment difficulties. Even when they commit, they are easily bored and jump from one relationship to the next.
Although the two may have a fantastic time together at first, the ENFJ may begin to feel uneasy later in the relationship. ENFJs desire solid and safe relationships in which they can put their faith in their partners, but ESFPs aren't always willing to offer that.
4. ENFJ compatibility with opposing personalities
ENFJ personalities would find it difficult to connect with ISTP, ISTJ, ISFP, and ESTP. This is due to the fact that these people are diametrically opposed to them in terms of their worldview, beliefs, and interests. It would be difficult for them to establish common ground. At the same time, such partnerships allow both partners to develop and grow as individuals, especially when one partner's strengths are the other's shortcomings and vice versa.
ENFJ and ISTP compatibility
They don't have much in common, yet that's exactly what makes them so appealing to one other. ISTPs prefer optimistic individuals who don't complicate life any more than necessary, whereas ENFJs may be drawn to slightly mysterious ISTPs.
For the sake of the partnership, ENFJs avoid conflict, but ISTPs never share their feelings about their relationships with anybody, including their spouses. This lack of communication may make both parties unhappy in the relationship.
The good news is that neither of them gives up on their love quickly. The ISTP will not leave his or her spouse until there are compelling reasons to do so.
ENFJ and ISTJ Compatibility
Despite their differences, the two form a solid team since they are skilled planners and prefer to keep organized.
On the negative side, because the ISTJ spouse does not disclose his or her deepest ideas and feelings, there may be a lack of communication. It doesn't feel good on the ENFJ end since ENFJs constantly want to connect on a deeper level with their spouse by sharing their feelings and emotions.
ISFP and ENFJ Compatibility
Both the ENFJ and the ISFP desire dependable companions who understand them and with whom they can have fun. With that in mind, the chances of them getting together and marrying are quite high.
However, there is a disadvantage: ISFPs are highly spontaneous and prefer to go with the flow, whereas ENFJs prefer to organize everything and know precisely where they are headed.
ESTP and ENFJ Compatibility
The ESTP's openness, boldness, and kindness are valued by the ENFJ. The ENFJ's warmth, genuineness, and friendliness, on the other hand, are valued by the ESTP. ENFJs are ideal mates for ESTPs since they are energetic and high-energy.
Regardless, the ESTP is easily bored, and if the ENFJ fails to keep things exciting, the ESTP may opt to have an affair.
To make matters worse, the ENFJ avoids open dialogue and frequently fails to convey his or her requirements to the ESTP. Unfortunately, ESTPs are not the type to understand their partners' deep feelings unless they are explicitly stated to them.

Here are several ENFJ weaknesses and ways to overcome them.
Self-Sacrificing (Overly Empathetic)

ENFJs frequently put the needs of others ahead of their own. They may feel overwhelmed by their own obligations to others, and it may be difficult for them to assist everyone with their issues.

Unrealistic
Many ENFJs places too much stress on themselves to rectify every wrong they come across. But, no matter how hard these people try, they will never be able to fix all of the world's issues. If they are not careful, they may stretch themselves too thin and find themselves unable to assist anybody.
Overly Idealistic
ENFJs tend to have clear ideas about what’s right and what’s wrong. They often think that everyone shares these fundamental principles – or, at least, that everyone should share these principles. So it can come as a genuine shock to ENFJs when people violate their core values, such as truth or justice.
A tendency to take things personally
ENFJs are enthusiastic and headstrong, and they tend to dive in headfirst without thoroughly examining or researching the task at hand, or completely comprehending what it will entail.
